Only trying to help

Today Bryan was trying to help Broderick out of his high chair and they both tumbled backwards. I thought for sure the baby was hurt and picked him up and told Don to get Bryan since he wasn't hurt. Or, so we thought he wasn't hurt. He was crying and Don said, his arm is broken, I said, "No it isn't, he can bend them weird".

Then, I looked at his arm and sure enough it had a strange curve to it. We headed out the door to the ER and xrays and yep, broken it is. They sent us to the Orthopedist who set it in a nice green cast for the next 4 weeks. He actually broke both bones, but only one had to be rest which he did in the office and Bryan was such a big boy and didn't even cry.

Here he is cast and all.

Well, he looks quite pleased with the cast :) Good thing kids' bones heal so quickly!

He is handling it very well and was quite proud that Monsignor blessed it yesterday after Mass.
