Since my last post was about exercising, I thought I'd share that I did finally get back on my treadmill. Not as soon as I would have liked, but I did get on. I couldn't quite get in my 5 miles as Broderick needed me as he was ready for bed, but I did get 4.5 miles and I even got in 3 miles in less time than the past. I usually do 3 miles in 56 minutes at a 5-6% incline, but this time I did it in 53 minutes and then I did a mile at a 10% incline (the highest on my treadmill) and then the last 1/2 mile was working my arms with a 8lb weight at 3.0 speed and 5% incline. It seems to work.
There was a fitness person on The View one day that said you can't lose weight doing the treadmill and I beg to differ. I'm at a 25lb loss to date and working towards a total of 80lbs. I wanted to be at 40 by the time the kids went back to school at the end of Aug, but I'm working towards 35 instead and I would love to have the rest off by the end of the year. When I get that goal reached, I will be contacting the The View and let them know that you CAN lose weight on the treadmill.
I thought after taking some time off that this would be tough as the last time I took 10 days off when I had oral surgery, but this time it wasn't difficult. Now, I just have to keep on track so that I can reach my goal.
Rebekah sent me a workout to try on my off days from the treadmill and it requires a jumprope, so I'm going to buy one and give it a try.

Debbie -- it's the other DEBI - from Babylock Babes. I wanted to ask you about your treadmill because I've saved up $$$ to buy one and and am at a loss as to what to buy. What did you get? How do you like it? You can email me at ialady44 at yah*o if you'd like.
